Published in 2016, nearly 70 years after the UFO incident that placed Roswell, NM in the International spotlight, The Children of Roswell is not just another book about aliens, UFO’s, and Government cover-ups. Rather than rehash the events and the people directly involved in one of the greatest alien events in the modern age, this book takes a fresh and insightful approach.
Many outside Roswell today view the small city in Southeastern New Mexico as little more than a tourist destination. Yet, the truth goes much deeper.
This book describes the aftermath of the 1947 UFO incident on the lives of the children of those who witnessed events firsthand. These descendants had to find a way to balance what they knew to be the truth expressed by parents and other family members against official government reports lest they face official intimidation and silencing. Growing up, knowing what they know, was not easy for most.
In the years which have ensued, these now-grown children have themselves faced official suppression at the hands of the U.S. Government. Over what, an alleged weather balloon?
This simple fact prompts many questions related to the official Air Force response.
Yet, if the UFO were really a weather balloon, why go to extensive efforts to quiet the voices of the Children of Roswell?
